Whirlpool of India Ltd share price softened by 0.52% to Rs 820.6. The Company's net profit jumped 27.80% to Rs 102.88 crore, while revenue from operations gained significantly 25.04% to Rs 2726.75 crore in Q2FY26 over Q1FY26. The market capitalization of Household Appliances industry group stocks on BSE stood at Rs 3.15 lakh crore, expanding by 28.29%. It has marginally improved by 0.93% over last one week and eased lower by 4.01% in last one month while the market capitalization of Whirlpool of India Ltd has inched up 3.88% and 16.07% in the same period respectively. Profit before tax (PBT) of Whirlpool of India Ltd stood at Rs 138.75 crore in Q2 FY26, crashing by 29.37% year-on-year, and rallying 26.33% quarter-on-quarter. EBITDA came in at Rs 70 crore, tumbling by 55.29% YoY and easing 2.96% sequentially. Total expenses jumped by 25.08% to Rs 2642.12 crore in Q2FY26 over Q2FY25. During the quarter, cost of materials consumed stood at Rs 1427.02 crore, witnessing a sharp rise of 37.02% YoY, while employee benefits expense was at Rs 242.92 crore, soaring 14.71% YoY. For the TTM ended FY26, revenue from operations advanced 15.95% to Rs 7919.37 crore, while net profit surged by 61.74% to Rs 362.78 crore, compared to previous TTM. EBITDA witnessed a strong improvement of 24104% to Rs 359.53 crore, and PBT surged 59.48% to Rs 490.12 crore compared to previous TTM. The company's consolidated net cash flow from operating activities stood at Rs 571.07 crore in FY26, as against Rs 610.1 crore in FY25. Whirlpool of India Ltd nosedived by 38.57% in last one year, underperforming the benchmark BSE Sensex which has softened by 3.20% during the same period.
